The Tree of Life
According to the Cabbala, the Tree of Sephiroth represents the structure of the man and the universe. It symbolizes both the strengths in the work in the shown - veils placed between the man and the pure knowledge, and the interactions between these strengths. The origin of the Tree is underestimated. Its first illustrations date the twelfth century
Sephiroth, literally "emanations", "numerations" or still "numbers", are fields of consciousness, strengths in action in the reality which we perceive.
The paths which connect Sephiroth represent their interactions. They can be perceived as combinations of strengths, zones of transition, channels or still roads.
There is no discontinuity between the roads which cross the Tree. So Sephiroth is a part themselves of the initiatory route(course) of the Tree. This way, the Cabbala considers that there are 32 paths: 10 Sephiroth and 22 ways which connect them. Without knowing even the attributes of sephiroth, it is already possible to connect them between them, by following the order of the figures which are associated to them.
